Tailored for elementary-aged children, these step-by-step lessons make drawing accessible, engaging, and fun.
Foundational Art Techniques & Color Theory: Children don’t just copy lines; they learn why colors blend, how shapes form characters, and how to use basic shading and coloring techniques.
Animal Kingdom Exploration: Every lesson is an adventure! Children expand vocabulary and learn fascinating facts about the animals they draw, blending science and language with art.
Building Fine Motor Skills: Step-by-step guidance helps young hands develop the grip, control, and precision needed for both art and everyday handwriting.
Developing Creative Thinking and Confidence: Breaking complex characters down into simple, geometric shapes and lines shows children that they can tackle any big challenge by breaking it into small steps.
Weekly projects designed by age group, from elementary to middle school students, that challenge creators to cut, weave, and upcycle ordinary materials into extraordinary creations.
Paper Cutting & Origami: Developing grip and control, mastering precision scissor skills, and learning to build complex shapes.
Textile: students explore their sense of touch and develop fine motor control through weaving, yarn crafts, and sewing techniques.

Drawing: ages 5–12
Craft: age 5—15
Format: Private 1:1 or Group lessons held at the students’ location. Currently accepting students in the San Jose, Milpitas, and Fremont areas.

Class Length Options: Depending on the student's learning pace, an art class can be 1 or 1.5 hours long, completing one project per class. A 2-hour class is recommended for a combined drawing and craft session.
